Some and any........
Some and any are used with countable and uncountable nouns, to describe an indefinite or incomplete quantity.
Some is used in positive statements:
1.There is some milk in the bottle.
2.There is some ink in the pen.
3.She bought some honey.
It is also used in questions where we are sure about the answer
1.Did she give you some wine?(I am sure she did)
2. is there some milk in the pen?(I think there is)
Some is used in situations where the question is not a request for information, but a method of making a request, encouraging or giving an invitation:
1.Wold you like some wine?
2.Could I have some water, please?
Any is used in questions and with not in negative statements:
1.Have you any time?
2.I didn’t see any of chıldren.
3.I don’t think.There is any butter in the fridge.
Your sentences are different. ( Some,any ,none of +the/this/thise/those) Please,read my explanations carefully and completely.Okey?
1.Some of the students are hardworking but some are not
2.Some people are friendly. but some are not.
3 Some of the questions are easy but some are difficult.
